Mohamed Hadid, the father of supermodels Bella and Gigi Hadid, has been accused of rape by model Miranda Vee.

Vee shared her story on Instagram, claiming that she was invited to a “professional meeting” by Guess co-founder Paul Marciano about a potential test shoot.

Instead of meeting for coffee as planned, Vee alleges that she ended up in an apartment with just Hadid and champagne, where he allegedly “date raped” her.

Vee claims that she attempted to speak out about the incident last year, but was coerced into signing a non-disclosure agreement by both Hadid and Marciano.

Vee says she only signed the agreement because Marciano threatened her, saying that he would “get [her] disappeared” if she ever spoke out.

In her Instagram post, Vee shared screenshots of text conversations she had with both Hadid and Marciano.

In the conversations, Vee appears to mention her meeting with Hadid to Marciano, to which he responded, “I never asked you to do anything with Mohamed,” followed by “You decided to meet him on your own.”

Vee’s accusations come after model Kate Upton spoke out about her own experiences with Marciano, stating on Twitter that she was disappointed that Guess would allow Marciano to continue as the company’s creative director.

Upton later elaborated on Instagram, saying that Marciano “shouldn’t be allowed to use his power in the industry to sexually and emotionally harass women.”

Hadid has denied Vee’s claims, saying that he did agree to meet her about two years ago because she was a self-proclaimed fan. He called her story “totally untrue,” and has reportedly spoken to his attorney with the plan to file a defamation suit against Vee.

The accusations against Hadid and Marciano are just the latest in a series of sexual harassment and assault allegations against high-profile figures in the modeling industry.
