“Of course, it was like the first day we worked together,” Garner told E! at an AFI Fest premiere of “Butter” in Los Angeles. “It’s always like that. It’s always like, ‘It’s nice to meet you, now let’s moan and groan.’ I’m such a huge fan of [Jackman’s]. It was so horrifying.”

However, Garner said that none of these three women inspired her performance.

“I didn’t look at the political figures of today at all,” she said. “As far as the political stuff, that you’ll just have to read into that yourself.”

Despite this, some have noted the similarities between Garner’s styling in “Butter” and the look of female Republican candidates like Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachmann.
