Taylor Swift almost suffered a wardrobe malfunction at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards.

She was wearing a short dress with a high split that put her private area at risk of being exposed as she walked up onto a platform to accept her awards.

Fortunately, she was able to avoid flashing the photographers and maintain her composure.

Taylor held two awards in her hands as she stepped up onto a platform, narrowly avoiding showing her underwear to the photographers who were taking pictures.

The pale pink dress she wore had a high split that went all the way up to her crotch, revealing her long legs and putting everything in view.

She was in good company, as her friend Ed Sheeran was the biggest winner of the night, taking home six awards, including Top Artist and Top Male Artist.

The Billboard Music Awards were not the only event that Swift attended recently. She also performed a special duet with Selena Gomez at one of her stadium shows.

The two women have been friends for 13 years and Gomez took the opportunity to thank Swift for her support over the years.

Gomez said, “The reason why she has been one of my best friends is because this person has never judged a single decision I have made, she’s encouraged me when I’ve had nothing to be encouraged about and I don’t know if I would be as strong as I am if I didn’t have you and your family. You’ve changed my life.”

In addition to her musical successes, Swift has also been in the news recently for reigniting her feud with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.

The three of them famously fell out in 2016 when West released the track “Famous” with lyrics that offended Swift.

Kardashian defended her husband by sharing footage of him getting verbal approval for the lyrics from Swift.

Afterwards, Kardashian posted a message about snakes, which many people assumed was directed at Swift.

In response, Swift surrounded herself with giant decorative snakes during one of her recent performances.

She told her fans, “You might be wondering why there are so many snakes everywhere, huh?. A couple of years ago, someone called me a snake on social media and it caught on. Then a lot of people were calling me a lot of things on social media and I went through some really low times for a while because of it. I went through some times when I didn’t know if I was going to get to do this anymore.”
