Teenage tennis player groped by her father and coach: VIDEO

A viral video showing 16-year-old Czech tennis player Sara Bejlek being grabbed on the behind by both her father and coach has sparked outrage among sports fans.

The incident occurred after Bejlek qualified for the US Open and was captured on video celebrating with her father, Jaroslav Bejlek, and coach, Jakub Kahoun.

In the footage, Bejlek is seen shaking hands with her opponent, Heather Watson, at the net before heading courtside to celebrate with her father and coach.

She then walks over and hugs another man, identified as her coach, who also pats her on the buttocks.

Sports fans have reacted with disgust to the video, which has since gone viral. Many have called for the matter to be investigated by relevant authorities.

“There’s absolutely no reason to touch a 16yo girl on her butt like that. It’s beyond inappropriate. As the video progressed it got worse and worse,” wrote one user on social media.

“Creepy coaches. She’s 16,” tweeted another, accompanied by embarrassed and scared emojis.

“What the hell?? I need more people to see this and talk about his because they literally caught them in 4K how is this not being talked about???,” stated a third.

Another Twitter user believed that the video in question needed to be investigated by relevant authorities.

“The WTA needs to look into these especially since these young girls are traveling w men from a very young age. Also y’all can say its the dad or wtv but does your dad touch your bum like that,” they wrote.

However, not all those reacting on social media condemned the act, with some pointing out that the incident only looks awkward to those with a Western perspective.

“It is pretty common in Czechia. Not something I would do, but many men just don’t think about it in a sexual way. Google our Easter traditions, you might be shocked,” said one user.

“Perfectly normal in some cultures and households. One sees what they want to see,” agreed another.
Despite the controversy, Bejlek made her US Open main draw debut on Monday, losing 6-1, 6-3 to Ludmilla Samsonova in the first round.

After the match, she and her team reportedly flew straight home to the Czech Republic.
