Ashley Benson oozes s-x appeal in GQ

The cast of popular TV show Pretty Little Liars has recently graced the pages of GQ’s June issue, and has caused quite the stir among critics.

The four actresses, Ashley Benson, Troian Bellisario, Shay Mitchell and Lucy Hale, can be seen posing in designer swimwear and looking nothing short of stunning.

However, many are questioning whether the photos have been digitally altered, and have taken to social media to voice their concerns.

Hayley Hoover, writing for The Gloss, said, “While I understand that GQ’s target demographic is probably, you know, not high school girls, it still makes me sad to see some of the smartest female characters on TV getting reduced to shiny, poreless Barbies.”

Troian Bellisario, who plays Spencer Hastings on the show, took to Twitter to defend the use of photoshopping in the shoot.

She wrote, “OF COURSE WE WERE! that’s a very specific type of photo shoot. And looking very blown out and perfected was obviously what they were looking for.”

She went on to share behind-the-scenes photos of the shoot, proving that the actresses still looked gorgeous even without the use of photoshopping.

“It’s the same everywhere,” Troian added.

“It’s the same way on the posters of our show and even in women’s magazines. This industry seems to invest more in perfection than in flaw.”

The use of photoshopping in media has been a topic of much debate in recent years, with many calling for a more realistic representation of women and men in the media.

Troian is not alone in her thoughts on the matter, with many in the industry calling for a change in the way people are portrayed in the media.

Despite the controversy surrounding the photos, the actresses have said that they had a great time on the shoot and are proud of the way they look.

“But it’s the same everywhere,” Troian said. “It’s the same way on the posters of our show and even in women’s magazines. This industry seems to invest more in perfection than in flaw.”

Ashley Benson, who plays Hanna Marin on the show, was seen in the photos wearing a black cut-out bikini top by Agent Provocateur and matching briefs by American Apparel.

She also sported a bouffant hairstyle, reminiscent of the iconic Marilyn Monroe.

Troian can be seen in a red two-piece bikini, playing a saucy game of towel-pulling with her co-stars and a male model.

Shay Mitchell, who plays Emily Fields on the show, is seen in a white bikini top and black briefs, while Lucy Hale, who plays Aria Montgomery, sports a Louis Vuitton red-checked top and white cut-offs.

All four actresses look amazing in the photos, but the question remains: have the photos been digitally altered?

Troian’s behind-the-scenes photos may have proven that the actresses still look gorgeous without photoshopping, but the question of whether the final photos have been edited still remains.
