Salma Hayek: My b**bs looked better ten years ago

Salma Hayek has opened up about her body in a recent interview with Allure magazine, where she posed for a photoshoot.

When asked if any part of her body looked better 10 years ago, she surprisingly responded, “My b**bs.”

However, she quickly added, “They’re not bad, by the way. I’m not complaining about them.”

Hayek, who is 44 years old, appears confident and comfortable in her own skin, showing off her voluptuous figure in the photoshoot.

Though Hayek is known for her stunning looks, she has always been down to earth about her appearance.

She famously breastfed a hungry infant in Sierra Leone, where she was promoting a UNICEF initiative to eradicate tetanus, and nonchalantly explained, “If you have milk, you have milk, and if they’re hungry, they’re hungry.”

Hayek also believes that motherhood is a powerful place for women to connect and understand each other.

Hayek revealed that she has become more confident about herself and her sexuality since hitting her 40s, but it wasn’t always the case.

She says that she was teased when she was younger because of her height and skin color, which is a mix of Mexican and Lebanese.

Despite this, her sultry looks eventually helped her make it in Hollywood, although she had to conform to the Hollywood mold of the “sexy Latin girl.”

The actress also shared that her skin is her fortune and has developed a beauty line, Nuance, which launched this summer at CVS.

The line is a tribute to her grandmother, who studied to be a beautician and made potions for government officials and their wives.

Hayek credits her grandmother for her good hair and skin and revealed that she never used soap on her face.

When it comes to the Hollywood ideal of holding back the years, Hayek is clear on where she stands.

She believes that every woman is entitled to fight to preserve her youth, but not by becoming overly surgified by celebrity dermatologists.

She states, “It’s like the uniform of a generation. And it’s not necessarily beautiful. It’s not wrinkled-looking, but it’s not beautiful.”

Hayek is a refreshing voice in Hollywood, where many actresses feel pressure to conform to beauty standards.
