Amanda Bynes’ father tried to sleep with her

Actress Amanda Bynes made headlines when she accused her father, Rick Bynes, of sexual abuse in a series of tweets.

However, she later retracted her statements, attributing them to a “microchip” in her brain.

In response to the tweets, Amanda’s mother, Lynn Bynes, has spoken out through her attorney, Tamar Arminak, in defense of her husband.

Lynn Bynes’ attorney released a statement exclusively to E! News, stating, “Rick has been the best father and husband a family can ask for. He has never abused Amanda or our other children physically or sexually.”

Arminak further commented on the allegations, “These accusations are absolutely horrible and could not be further from the truth!

“These allegations stem from Amanda’s mental state at the moment. They have no basis in reality.”

Amanda’s tweets on Friday contained detailed accusations against her father, including physical and verbal abuse, as well as inappropriate sexual behavior.

She claimed that her father had made sexual advances towards her when she was a child and had forced her to live with him, which was a “total nightmare.”

She also alleged that he had fondled himself in front of her on multiple occasions.

In a subsequent tweet, Amanda announced that she would be seeking a restraining order against her father.

She wrote, “So, today I am meeting with a lawyer to get a restraining order against my dad.”

However, she later retracted her allegations and claimed that a “microchip” in her brain had made her say those things.

Amanda’s mother has remained silent until now, but has released a statement through her attorney to defend her husband against the allegations.

Tamar Arminak concluded her statement by expressing her sadness over the situation, saying, “It saddens me beyond belief that my husband’s character could be slandered in such a way.”

Amanda’s mental health has been a concern in the past, with the actress being placed on a 5150 involuntary psychiatric hold in 2013.

She recently returned to Twitter to announce that she plans to transfer to NYU or Columbia after studying fashion at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising.

The allegations made by Amanda against her father are serious, and the subsequent retraction has raised questions about her mental state.

It is important to remember that sexual abuse is a serious issue and should never be taken lightly.
