Mary Louise Parker is bitter about going topless

Mary-Louise Parker, who played the role of Nancy Botwin, a marijuana-selling suburban mom in the Showtime series Weeds, has expressed her dissatisfaction with a recent nud scene she had to do for the show.

In an interview with MORE magazine for its June issue, Parker stated that she didn’t think she needed to be naked and she had fought with the director about it.

She also added that she was now “bitter” about the scene and wished she hadn’t done it.

Parker expressed her concern that the scene would be all over the internet, stating, “I knew it was going to be on the Internet: ‘Mary Louise shows off her big nipples.’ I wish I hadn’t done that. I was goaded into it.”

Despite her reservations, co-executive producer Roberto Benabib defended the decision, saying that the ndity was necessary to convey the character’s vulnerability.

“We felt at that point in her life, defenses had been so thoroughly stripped away,” he said.

“There was a nonchalance to the ndity that informed the scene I thought it was wonderful, one of the five best scenes Mary-Louise has ever done [on Weeds].”

Parker still enjoys playing her character on the show, but she likes it more when it’s extreme and not crass or sentimental.

In the same interview, Parker also talked about the pressure to look young in Hollywood.

She stated that she had no intention of giving in to the knife anytime soon, and expressed her frustration at the airbrushing of her photos to make her look like she had work done.

“Somebody told me that they’d read I had all this work done, and showed me a picture and it was totally airbrushed … it made me so mad,” she said.

“I’m 44 and I look okay for 44. I’m not trying to look 34.”

Parker also talked about her experience with being a single mother and how it has influenced her acting career.

She stated that she doesn’t think she would have been able to do the role of Nancy Botwin if she hadn’t been a mother herself.

“I’m a single mom, and that informs everything I do,” she said.

“It’s the most important thing in the world to me.”

Parker also discussed her role in the Broadway play, “Proof,” which she won a Tony Award for in 2001.

She stated that it was one of the most challenging roles she has ever done, but also one of the most rewarding.

“It was so challenging, and it made me a better actor,” she said.

“It was the hardest thing I’ve ever done, and I’m so grateful for it.”

Parker also talked about her experience with depression and anxiety, which she has been open about in the past.

She stated that she doesn’t think people talk enough about mental health, and that it’s important to seek help when needed

. “I think it’s really important to talk about mental health, and to not be ashamed of it,” she said.

“There’s so much help out there, and it’s okay to ask for it.”

In addition, Parker discussed her upcoming projects, including a memoir that she is currently working on.

She stated that writing the book has been a challenging experience, but also a rewarding one.

“It’s been a really interesting process,” she said. “It’s challenging to be that vulnerable, but it’s also been really rewarding.”

Parker also talked about her experience with social media, stating that she’s not a big fan of it.

She stated that she’s not interested in sharing every aspect of her life with the world, and that she prefers to keep some things private.

“I’m not a big fan of social media,” she said.

“I don’t want to share everything about my life with everyone. I think it’s important to have some privacy.”

Despite her reservations about social media, Parker has used it in the past to speak out about political issues.

She has been vocal about her support for various causes, including women’s rights and LGBTQ+ rights.

“I think it’s important to use your platform for good,” she said.

“There are so many important issues that need attention, and I want to do my part to help.”

Parker concluded the interview by discussing her plans for the future. She stated that she’s looking forward to spending more time with her children and continuing to work on projects that she’s passionate about.

“I want to keep doing work that I love,” she said.

“I want to keep challenging myself and growing as an actor. And most importantly, I want to be a good mom.”
