Reports have been surfacing about Marilyn Monroe and her alleged affair with Elvis Presley.

With the upcoming release of the Netflix film, “Blonde,” which features Ana De Armas portraying Marilyn, the late actress has been in the headlines once again.

However, it seems that Monroe’s life was not as perfect as it appeared on the surface.

It is well-known that Monroe and Presley met once at Paramount Studios in June of 1960, but rumors have been circulating about a secret affair between the two.

One man who claims to have inside knowledge of the affair is Byron Raphael, a publicity and management agent.

According to Raphael, as reported by Express UK, the affair began when he suggested that he and Monroe go on public dates for publicity purposes.

Monroe declined, but Presley was interested in meeting her.

He secretly arranged for a meeting with Monroe two weeks later, and Raphael was tasked with picking her up and bringing her to the Beverly Wilshire hotel.

When he saw her, they came together and, without a word, started kissing.

I was in shock and didn’t know what to do,” Raphael shared.

“Then Marilyn Monroe, who was ten years older, said, ‘You’re pretty good for a guitar player.’

After two minutes they went into the bedroom and I didn’t know if I was supposed to leave, or stay and wait for them, so I sort of just dozed off.

The next thing I knew I was startled awake by the door opening and I dove behind the bar.

And they both walked out stark naked. I didn’t say a word, I just stayed quietly

Raphael revealed that Presley called a cab for Monroe after their rendezvous, and when Raphael mentioned Monroe to Presley afterward, the singer simply said, “She’s a nice gal, but a little tall for me.”

Despite Raphael’s claims, the alleged affair has not been confirmed.

However, it is not the first time that rumors of a relationship between Monroe and Presley have surfaced.

Some speculate that their connection was due to their mutual love of music, as both were successful singers in their own right.

The idea of a Monroe-Presley affair adds another layer to the mysterious lives of two of the most iconic figures in Hollywood history.
