Sebastian Stan watched Pam & Tommy’s s-x tape

The upcoming Hulu series Pam & Tommy has taken the internet by storm with the first official photos showing Lily James and Sebastian Stan in their roles as Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee.

The story at the heart of the show is based on the aftermath of the couple’s stolen sx tape being leaked to millions.

Lily James stated during an interview on E! News Daily Pop on Friday, Jan. 28, that “It was a crime against them.”

She added that the tape was a private moment between two people in love and not a “sx tape” as many refer to it.

The show will focus on the “culpability” of anyone who has watched the tape over the years.

Neither Lily James nor Sebastian Stan had seen the tape before signing onto the project.

Sebastian Stan explained during an interview that he was hardly a tween when the video first hit the Internet back in the ’90s.

The transformation into the roles of Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee wasn’t easy, and it wasn’t just because of the physical changes they had to undergo.

The story is a tragic one that explores the violation of the couple’s privacy. “So just to be able to kind of go back and go, ‘Hey, wait a minute, they had nothing to do with this thing,’ like, ‘This is how this thing was stolen, this is how it was taken,’—and it was wild enough to read and know about—I think that they deserved that being retold,” Sebastian stated during an interview.

Sebastian even reached out to Tommy Lee himself at one point, stating that “they’re real people. It’s a real person. Of course, at some point, you want to just raise your hand and go, ‘Hey, this is my name. Nice to meet you. I don’t know what you think about it, but I guess I’ll play you in this thing.’ It feels like it’s a common decent thing to do.”

The show will examine the “culpability” of anyone who has watched the stolen tape over the years.

As Lily James explained during the E! News Daily Pop interview, “It’s a testament to the thing we’re making and the story we’re telling that it should be the question that people are asking, ‘Why did we watch it, and why did we think it was okay?’ That’s what the show is examining.”

The show is highly anticipated, and the first official photos released by Hulu have left many fans excited to see Lily James and Sebastian Stan transform into the iconic couple.

However, it’s important to note that the focus of the show isn’t just on their physical transformation, but also on the violation of their privacy and the impact that the stolen tape had on their lives.

During the interview, Lily James reiterated that “it was a crime against them. The tape was made as a private, private tape between two people in love, and it’s not ‘a sx tape.’

Pam has always talked about it in that way. So it was just such huge violation of their privacy.”

The show’s focus on examining the culpability of those who watched the stolen tape has sparked conversation and raised important questions about the ethics of consuming such content.

The show is set to premiere on Hulu in February 2022.
