Dakota Johnson stole underwear and a s-x toy from the “Fifty Shades” set

Dakota Johnson, the star of the Fifty Shades of Grey film, has admitted to taking two items from the set of the movie.

During a Twitter question and answer session with Glamour UK, she explained that she “stole lots of the underwear” from the set, adding that it was “comfortable.” In addition to the pilfered pants, Johnson also admitted to taking a flogger, which she said is currently stored in her garage.

However, she was keen to distance herself from the film’s more salacious aspects, admitting that she didn’t want her family to see the movie.

“I don’t want my family to see it, because it’s inappropriate,” she explained.

“Or my brother’s friends that I grew up with.

Also there’s part of me that’s like, I don’t want anyone to see this movie – just kidding.”

Johnson’s co-star, Jamie Dornan, has previously spoken of the research he undertook for his role as Christian Grey, visiting a real life s** dungeon.

However, Johnson chose not to follow Dornan’s lead in this respect.

“I didn’t get to go to the s** dungeon,” she revealed.

“I wanted to keep myself a little bit distanced from it at first because I wanted Ana’s reaction to certain things to be honest and real.”

Despite the film’s s**ual content, Johnson praised Dornan for his protective nature on set.

During the film’s more intimate scenes, she said that Dornan would be the “first one to throw a blanket over me” when the cameras stopped rolling.

“And he did a lot of studying, just to make sure that I was as safe as possible.

But there were some painful moments,” she added.

Johnson’s comments come as Fifty Shades of Grey continues to dominate the global box office.

The film, which was released in time for Valentine’s Day, has so far grossed $248.7 million worldwide.

Despite this success, however, Johnson revealed that she still hasn’t watched the movie, and wasn’t sure if she ever would.

“It’s too much,” she said.

“I think it’s just best for me to avoid it.”

The star’s confession about the underwear and flogger is not the first time that cast members have spoken about their experiences on the film’s set.

Dornan has previously revealed that he was required to wear a “penis pouch” while filming the movie’s s** scenes.

“It’s like one of those little satchels that Robin Hood or someone of that era would have tied on to their belt,” he explained.

“There’s no back. It’s tiny.

“I mean, it’s not tiny! Because it has to hold a lot.”

Meanwhile, the film’s director, Sam Taylor-Johnson, has spoken of the challenges of bringing the novel to the big screen.

“It was difficult,” she said.

“There was a lot of ridiculousness surrounding the book, and we had to get through that to tell the story properly.”

The film is based on the book of the same name by E.L. James, which has sold more than 100 million copies worldwide.
