Jennifer Lopez poses topless in her under wear

Jennifer Lopez, the 53-year-old performer, recently shared a new image of herself on her JLo Beauty Instagram page.

In the image, she posed topless, wearing only a pair of white undies as she lay tummy down, with her highlighted hair falling down her bare back.

However, the caption of the post was not about her incredible body.

Rather, it focused on being good to oneself.

The post was made in celebration of National Stress Awareness Month, and it encouraged people to take time for self-care as it helps with their mental health and overall well-being.

The caption provided five ways in which Lopez keeps herself stress-free.

Firstly, she is careful with her skincare routine.

Secondly, she exercises frequently.

Thirdly, she spends time with loved ones.

Fourthly, she eats healthily.

Lastly, she spends time being creative.

Lopez then asked her followers how they practice taking care of themselves.

Last month, Lopez spoke to UsWeekly about how moving her body helps her keep a positive mental attitude.

She was promoting BodyArmor Lite for the new Choose More campaign, which she stars in.

According to MentalHealth.org, people who exercise regularly have better mental health and emotional well-being, and lower rates of mental illness.

Therefore, taking up exercise seems to reduce the risk of developing mental illness.

It also seems to help in treating some mental health conditions, like depression and anxiety.

Lopez claimed that she exercises first thing in the morning, which is often before 5 am when it is still dark, no matter what her busy schedule has in store.

She also tries to make good choices and balance her time.

Lopez mixes up her workout moves and is not afraid to challenge herself.

She has done kickboxing, circuit training, core work, lunges, and burpees.

Lopezs trainer, Tracy Anderson, has said that she shows up no matter what, takes the time seriously, knows her body, and wants to be herself.

She knows that putting in the hard work to get her workout in is part of it.

Lopez loves BodyArmor Lite because it has zero sugar added and is low-calorie.

It is made with a coconut water base and contains potassium-packed electrolytes and antioxidants, which contributes to staying hydrated but also helps her replenish after an intense workout, performance, or a full day on the go.

When her career first took off, Lopez paid less attention to stress.

However, she later realized how serious the consequences could be of ignoring what her body and mind needed to be healthy.

In her book, On the JLo, she wrote: There was a time in my life where I used to sleep 3 to 5 hours a night.

“I’d be on set all day and in the studio all night and doing junkets and filming videos on the weekends.

“I was in my late 20s and I thought I was invincible until one day, I was sitting in a trailer, and all the work and the stress it brought with it, coupled with not enough sleep to recuperate mentally, caught up with me.

After consulting a doctor, Lopez realized how serious the consequences could be of ignoring what her body and mind needed to be healthy.

This was where her journey to wellness began.

She felt frozen and thought she was losing her mind.

However, she later discovered it was a classic panic attack brought on by exhaustion, but she had never even heard the term at the time.

Lopez is on to something as she believes there is a positive correlation between exercise and mental health.

She believes that when people find a good balance through determination and focus, they are naturally pushing to be the best version of themselves.

She is always evolving and looking for things that keep her excited and motivated.

She is open to pushing herself, which is what she is doing right now as she rehearses for her new album, This Is Me Now, which is set to debut this summer.
