Why Ed Sheeran keeps buying giant PENlSES

Ed Sheeran has provided an explanation for his peculiar habit of gifting giant p-nis statues to fellow musicians.

The “Shape of You” singer has caused a stir after Sam Smith revealed that Sheeran had given them a 6-foot-2 marble phallic statue.

When Smith alluded to the fact that it was not an isolated incident, questions began to arise.

However, Sheeran has now shed some light on the situation during an appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.

It turns out, Elton John is to blame.

John has apparently been known to gift Sheeran with “odd gifts, like s**ual sort of objects” throughout his career.

In an attempt to return the favour, Sheeran commissioned a giant marble p-nis statue for John’s birthday last year.

“I got this huge, floppy droopy thing,” Sheeran explained.

“I gave it to him for his birthday and Elton was over the moon about it.”

“And then it got out into the press that I had done it, because Elton’s talking about it, I was talking about it, and then I would be doing interviews, and people would be like, well, can I have one?”

Sheeran has since obliged, making the statues for various requesters, including Smith.

“Sam saw one of [the penises] and said, ‘Can I have one?’ And I said, ‘What would you like?’ And Sam said, ‘One the size of me. One that’s 6-foot-2.’ There we go. That’s it,” Sheeran said.

Smith, who was gifted the statue, recently revealed that they will have to have it craned into their house due to its two-tonne weight.

Sheeran’s p-nis presents may be unusual, but it appears to have become somewhat of a running joke amongst his celebrity friends.

In fact, Sheeran revealed that he was once gifted a windmill by Russell Crowe, which he now has on his farm.

It seems that the infamous p-nis statue gift was not the first time that Sheeran and Smith had crossed paths.

In 2019, the two performed together at Smith’s concert in Leeds, where Sheeran took to the stage to sing “Stay With Me” with him.

Smith has since spoken about their friendship, saying that they are “like siblings”.

Sheeran’s music career has gone from strength to strength since he first emerged in 2011.

He has won four Grammy Awards, six Brit Awards, and an Ivor Novello Award.

He has also collaborated with some of the biggest names in music, including Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift.

Sheeran is known for his down-to-earth personality.

He has previously spoken about his love of nature, and his desire to live a simpler life.

In 2019, he announced that he was taking a break from music to focus on travelling and spending time with his family.

Sheeran has long been a supporter of various charities, and has used his platform to raise awareness of important issues.

He has worked with the likes of Comic Relief, East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices, and Drop4Drop.

In 2020, he donated £170,000 to his local hospital in Suffolk to help them purchase vital equipment during the Covid-19 pandemic.

It seems that Sheeran’s love of unusual gifts extends beyond the realm of giant p-nis statues.

In 2015, he revealed that he had once given rapper Rick Ross a bright pink miniature horse.

“I bought him a horse, a miniature horse,” he said.

“I bought him a pink one called Mighty. He won’t forget that.”
