Ryan Reynolds, the star of the new superhero film Deadpool, has spoken about the film’s major s** scene, which he says is the complete opposite of romantic.

“There’s a rather large, grandiose s** montage in the movie, but it’s not as titillating as it is just funny and horrifying at times,” he said in an interview with Australian site TheFIX.

Reynolds added that filming the extensive scene was also a less than s**y experience.

“It was a year’s worth of s** in one day … which sounds a lot more romantic than it is, trust me,” said Reynolds, 39.

Deadpool has been praised for its irreverent tone and racy humor, which are not typical of superhero movies.

“I have a filthy sense of humor that I freely input into the character of Deadpool,” Reynolds said.

“But you never wanna get mean with your humor, like, that’s where I sort of draw the line … a lot of the Deadpool humor is self-effacing.

He’s making fun of himself and I’m making fun of myself – regularly.”

Deadpool also differs from other films in the superhero genre in its treatment of female characters.

“They have big roles in the film!” Reynolds said when the interviewer mentioned that there are two women listed above him on the movie’s IMDb page.

“There’s as many female roles in the film as there are male.”

And Deadpool himself is not your typical superhero.

“We wanted the character to be kinda lithe and athletic-looking, and a lot of the superheroes out there now are these huge, muscular guys, so we kinda wanted to shy away from that,” shared Reynolds.

“Deadpool’s a rascal, first and foremost he’s a rascal, he shouldn’t feel like a guy who’s this gigantic, kinda musclebound character.”

The film hits theaters on Valentine’s Day weekend.

Despite the holiday, Reynolds assured fans that the movie will not be overly romantic.

According to Reynolds, the film’s humor is dark and twisted.

“The humor is pretty dark, so if you’re not a fan of that kind of stuff, this might not be for you,” he said.

“But if you like it, boy, you’ll love it.”

Deadpool is based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name.

The character first appeared in The New Mutants #98 in February 1991.

Deadpool is known for his ability to break the fourth wall, which means he is aware that he is a fictional character.

He is also known for his irreverent humor and tendency to make pop culture references.

The film has been a long time in the making.

Reynolds first appeared as Deadpool in X-Men Origins: Wolverine in 2009.

Fans were disappointed with the portrayal of the character and demanded a standalone movie.

Reynolds has been working on the film since 2011.

The film has received mixed reviews from critics.

Some have praised its irreverent humor, while others have criticized its reliance on violent action scenes.

Reynolds has defended the film, saying that it is true to the spirit of the Deadpool character.

“The character is irreverent, he’s violent, he’s funny, he’s all these things,” Reynolds said.

“And I think the movie reflects that.”

It is one of the highest-grossing R-rated films of all time.

A sequel is currently in development, with Reynolds set to reprise his role as the titular character.
