Tori Spelling’s breast implants scared her daughter
Tori Spelling, a star of Beverly Hills, 90210, has decided to replace her breast implants, which she got 20 years ago.
The decision was prompted by her daughter’s concern and the potential health risks associated with older implants.
In 2011, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued an advisory that “the longer a woman has silicone gel-filled breast implants, the more likely she is to experience local complications.”
Spelling initially put off scheduling the surgery to replace her implants, which had reached their expiration date.
However, when her 13-year-old daughter Stella expressed her concern, the actress realized that it was time to act.

“It really hit home for me when my daughter came to me and she’s like, ‘Mom, I’m concerned.
You have put this off.
You told me for years now that you need to get your b–bs redone,'” Spelling told E! News.
Spelling admits that she was not aware that breast implants had an expiration date and that they would have to be replaced every few years.
She also acknowledges that she should have had them replaced earlier but had been putting it off.
“For health reasons, it’s way safer at this point to do it.
Because there’s scar tissue buildup, it puts you out there for having long term things go wrong in your body,” she said.
In November, the actress announced her plans to get new breast implants, stating that she was finally addressing her expired and recalled implants on her Instagram Story.
During an appearance on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live in December, she revealed that she intends to replace her old implants with ones that are “a little bit bigger” on February 27.
Spelling’s decision to replace her breast implants comes amid growing concerns about the potential health risks associated with older implants.
In addition to the FDA warning, a growing number of women are choosing to have their implants removed due to concerns about the risks associated with the surgery.
Spelling hopes that by getting her implants replaced, she can set an example for her children and encourage them to prioritize their health.
“Because my main goal, my kids are my everything.
So this year coming up, scheduling that surgery, getting healthy — that is taking the forefront.
Because it’s OK to put yourself first.
In the end, it is for them, anyway,” she said.
