Margot Robbie, the famous actress known for her role as Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad and Birds of Prey, had to go on a wild journey to audition for her role in the comedy-drama Focus alongside Will Smith.
Despite Smith’s status as one of Hollywood’s most famous actors, Robbie did not hold back when expressing herself to him.

She was backpacking with her brother on an island off Croatia when she got all these messages saying: “They want you to audition for Focus.

After landing, she had to wait another six hours before getting onto another plane.
Her luggage got lost during her trip, leaving her without any dry clothes or makeup.
Despite the difficult journey, Robbie arrived at the audition on time, but Smith was late.
When he finally arrived, he apologized and explained that he was coming from Queens.
However, Robbie responded with, “Yeah?
Well, I just came from an island off Croatia and I’m here on time.”
Surprisingly, Robbie was ultimately cast in Focus.
Reflecting on the experience, she joked, “So I got the job because I looked like sh*t and called Will Smith a dick?” The film went on to earn $158 million against a budget of $50 million, and it wouldn’t be the last time Robbie and Smith shared the screen.
The duo later appeared together in the DC Comics film Suicide Squad.
Box Office Mojo reports that the movie grossed over $746 million on a $175 million budget.
This success allowed Robbie to continue playing the role of Harley Quinn in Birds of Prey and the upcoming The Suicide Squad.
Despite Robbie’s initial frustrations with Smith, their team-ups proved to be quite successful.
Robbie’s ability to overcome the challenges of her journey and impress during her audition is a testament to her dedication and talent as an actress.
