Jennifer Lawrence, the star of X-Men: First Class, knew she had found her life partner as soon as she met Cooke Maroney.

During a recent episode of n^ked with Catt Sadler, Lawrence revealed details about her private married life with the N.Y.C.

art gallery director, who quickly impressed her and changed her idea of marriage.

Prior to meeting Maroney, Lawrence had been in relationships with Nicholas Hoult and director Darren Aronofsky.

However, it wasn’t until she met Maroney through a mutual friend that she immediately thought about getting married.

The couple has maintained a private married life, but they have never stopped showing affection towards each other.

The couple started dating in the spring of 2018, months after Lawrence called off her relationship with Aronofsky.

According to reports, Lawrence’s best friend Laura Simpson was the one who introduced them.

After meeting Maroney, Lawrence was completely in love and was sure of her future with him.

“I definitely wasn’t at a place where I was like, ‘I’m ready to get married’.

I just met Cooke, and I wanted to marry him.

We wanted to marry each other, we wanted to commit fully,” said Lawrence during the podcast.

The couple took less than a year to validate their relationship and officially tied the knot in October 2019 after being engaged in February.

The 32-year-old actress praised her husband further on the podcast, calling him her favorite person, and how it was so easy to agree to his proposal.

“He’s my best friend, so I want to legally bind him to me forever.

And fortunately, the paperwork exists for such a thing.

It’s the greatest.

You find your favorite person on the planet, and you’re like, ‘You can’t leave!’ So I wanted to take that offer.”

Although the couple hasn’t revealed much about their relationship on the internet, Lawrence has never stopped herself from giving insights into her happily married life with Maroney.

The couple welcomed their first baby son, Cy, in February 2022.

Lawrence even shared with Vogue how the journey of being a mother transformed her.

On the other hand, the Oscar-winning actress also stated that as caring as Maroney is, his aura is also very encouraging for her.

According to Lawrence, many of her hidden fears vanished after she got together with her husband.

She has been able to do several things that she couldn’t do earlier.

“There were just certain things, like, ‘Oh, I can’t do that.’ And then the past year, I’ve just been doing all of that … Honestly, I was dating someone, and I didn’t want to tell him about [my nerves].

You know, I wanted to be normal and cool, so I just kind of hid that part of me and everything ended up being fine.

And I was like, ‘oh, I can do this.’ It was cool.”

Although the couple has not publicized many details in the public domain, Jennifer Lawrence’s candid interviews show that the actress is still very proud of her decision to marry Cooke Maroney.
