Amanda Bynes placed on psychiatric hold after roaming streets n^ked

On Sunday, Amanda Bynes was put on a psychiatric hold after being observed roaming the streets of Los Angeles n^ked.

An eyewitness stated that the former star of “The Amanda Show,” who has bipolar disorder, flagged down a car without any clothing and informed the driver that she was experiencing a psychiatric episode.

Bynes then called 911 on herself and was taken to a nearby police station, where a mental health expert evaluated her and determined that she required a 5150 hold.

According to TMZ, Bynes remains in the care of a facility.

A 5150 hold typically lasts for 72 hours but can be extended depending on the patient’s needs.

Reports indicate that Bynes had canceled her appearance at ’90s Con in Connecticut with her former “All That” co-stars on Saturday due to an undisclosed ailment.

Page Six reached out to Bynes’ attorney, but there has been no response yet.

However, her ex-fiancé, Paul Michael, told Page Six exclusively that the Nickelodeon alum might have been “off her meds.”

Bynes’ psychiatric episode occurred almost a year after she was released from an eight-year conservatorship.

During that time, she spoke out on Instagram, thanking her fans for their “love and support.”

The legal arrangement was eventually terminated by a judge, who ruled that it was “no longer necessary.”

Amanda’s parents, Rick Bynes and Lynn Bynes, supported her efforts to gain independence.

During the conservatorship, Lynn served as Amanda’s conservator, while Rick was regarded as an interested party in the case.

After the conservatorship ended, Amanda’s attorney reported that the former child star, who has also struggled with substance abuse, was “doing very well” and looking forward to moving in with Michael.

However, just months after publicly accusing him of watching “mom-and-son porn” and using crack cocaine, she and Michael ended their engagement in July 2022.

Amanda later clarified that she had caught Michael watching “MILF” porn, but she insisted that he had relapsed in his drug use despite revealing a clean test.

After the breakup, the retired actress decided to attend cosmetology school and become a manicurist.

She has since shared various photos of her in-progress nails and her classroom, which resembles a nail salon.

In June 2019, Amanda graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in LA and expressed an interest in developing fragrances.

Unfortunately, her recent psychiatric episode serves as a reminder that mental health is a critical issue that affects people of all ages, backgrounds, and professions.

Let us hope that Amanda receives the medical attention she needs and makes a full recovery soon.
