Nikki Bella was raped twice in high school

Former WWE star, Nikki Bella, has revealed that she was raped twice during her teenage years in her new memoir, “Incomparable.” According to Us Weekly, the 36-year-old shared that her first rape happened when she was just 15 years old and was attacked by a fellow student she thought was a friend.

She wrote that she had too much alcohol at a party and passed out, only to wake up with the guy on top of her, stealing her virginity without her consent.

The second incident happened when she was 16 and was drugged by a college-aged man who then raped her, as reported by People.

The book co-written by her twin sister Brie Bella, also reveals how Nikki blamed herself for what happened and kept it a secret.

She also expressed how she lost her confidence and disrespected herself in relationships she entered into at a young age.

However, she turned to therapy to try and cope with her struggles on and off.

She wishes she had opened up about her past sooner to help her let go.

Nikki admitted that it wasn’t until she was 28 and in a relationship where someone started to teach her how to respect herself that she finally understood how long she had held on to things and felt she had no boundaries.

She also expressed how the #MeToo Movement and her platform as a WWE star helped her come to terms with speaking up.

“I feel like, if I’m having these younger women look up to me, maybe I can help them and have them not hold onto this as long as I did,” she says in the book.

Nikki began dating John Cena in 2012, but after a failed engagement, the couple split for good in April 2018.

Now, she is expecting her first child with fiancé Artem Chigvintsev.

She expressed that she always admired Brie for setting boundaries and treating herself with “such respect” and wishes she could have heard her words now as a 36-year-old woman then, and be like, “You’re going to be okay.”

Nikki’s story is one of many that highlights the importance of speaking up and seeking help.

It also shows the long-lasting effects of s**ual assault on an individual’s mental and emotional well-being.

It is crucial for survivors of s**ual assault to understand that they are not to blame for what happened to them, and that help and support are available.

Therapy and counseling can be effective in helping survivors cope with their struggles and heal from their traumatic experiences.

The #MeToo Movement, which began in 2017, has helped bring awareness to the prevalence of s**ual assault and harassment, and has encouraged survivors to speak up and hold their perpetrators accountable.

Nikki’s decision to share her story serves as a reminder that there is still much work to be done to end s**ual violence and that it takes courage and strength to speak up.
