“I survived being raped in my 20s”
Brooke Shields, the famous actress known for her roles in “The Blue Lagoon” and “Endless Love,” has recently revealed that she was raped by a powerful Hollywood executive when she was in her 20s.

Shields also shared that she has been sexualized in Hollywood for decades, beginning when she appeared n^de in the 1978 film “Pretty Baby” at just 11 years old.
Shields admitted that it was easier for her to shut herself off and disassociate from the trauma.
She explained that it was a fight-or-flight type of choice, and since fighting was not an option, she chose to leave her body and pretend like it didn’t happen.
Shields has been vocal about the impact of the incident on her life and career.
The actress married Chris Henchy in 2001, and they have two daughters, Rowan and Grier, aged 19 and 16, respectively.
