Charlie Rose, an American television personality, has been accused of s**ual harassment by three more women.
The trio reportedly work for CBS News and came forward after he was fired on Tuesday due to s**ual misconduct allegations made by several of his former staffers at the “Charlie Rose” show, according to reports from CBS Evening News.
Following these revelations, CBS President David Rhodes sent a memo to staffers condemning the alleged behavior and calling it “extremely disturbing and intolerable.”
Rhodes emphasized that despite Rose’s contribution to the news division, there was nothing more important than ensuring a safe and professional workplace, which is a supportive environment where people feel they can do their best work.
He stated that the company needs to be such a place.
This news comes after a Washington Post report published on Monday revealed that eight women had accused Rose of s**ual misconduct.
