Adam Levine Hits Fan on the Head With Microphone – WATCH!
A Maroon 5 fan was struck in the head by a microphone thrown by lead singer Adam Levine at a concert in Toronto.
When Levine dropped the microphone after the PA at the Air Canada Centre broke down, Stephanie Green was injured but okay.
The mic hit the stage and rebounded directly into Green’s head in an apparently unplanned gesture by Levine. The audience members close to her gasped as the singer understood what he had done.
He immediately apologized to Green and invited her up on stage for a hug, as well as issuing a public apology.
“Our first album came out in 2002, not one time in the history of our band’s career — which I can barely even believe exists — not one time has the P.A. failed,” Levine remarked. “Not one time, until tonight. In my flustered state, I might have thrown my microphone on the ground and then it might have bounced off of the ground into poor, sweet Stephanie’s face,” Adam announced to the crowd.

“I felt utterly terrible,” he continued, “that I had perhaps wounded this young fan. So I brought her onstage, ran a little distraction so we could get our s— together, and she is now enjoying the concert from the side of the stage, as she should be. What we’re going to do is, we’re going to pretend none of that happened.”
Green stated that he apologized for the incident several times.
Green remarked, “He keeps apologising. [I said] ‘I love you, I’m happy, I’m OK!’ I was on stage, back and forth, freaking out.”
Green told CityNews, “It’s just literally the best day. [Adam] hugged me… grabbed my face, held my hands! I never thought in a million years this would happen to me.”
Green and her sister had purchased front-row seats for the event on Monday night.
Maroon 5 is most known for their 2011 hit Moves Like Jagger, which went on to become the 38th highest-selling single in UK chart history.
