Marvel reveals first look at She-Hulk With Green Skin
Today, Disney+ gave fans a sneak peek at Marvel’s forthcoming She-Hulk, revealing just how green the lawyer-turned-Hulk will be.
The upcoming MCU series, directed by Kat Coiro, will star Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters, the main heroine. Maslany will be accompanied by a superb ensemble that includes Abomination’s Tim Roth, Titania’s Jameela Jamil, and Bruce Banner’s Mark Ruffalo, who will reprise his role.
After getting an emergency blood transfusion from her cousin, Dr. Banner, Walters transforms into She-Hulk, the the last Marvel character created by the iconic Stan Lee. Walter, unlike the Avenger in his early days, is able to preserve her knowledge and personality even when completely hulked up, and even prosecutes crimes. Given that the Hulk previewed in this trailer looks to be the same “Smart Hulk” from Avengers: Endgame, the show shouldn’t have a hard time explaining the difference.
Jen warns TV viewers not to make her angry, saying, “You wouldn’t like me when I’m angry,” a hint at the last time a Hulk character had a live-action television series, which was in 1978. In Disney’s sizzle reel, there appears to be one more scene from She-Hulk, showing a green-skinned lady in a sequined gown getting out of a limousine and onto a red carpet.

She-Hulk’s plot is still a mystery, although it was reported that the program will have instances of Walters breaching the fourth wall, similar to Deadpool’s manner in his flicks. Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios, also teased that the show will be a “half-hour legal comedy,” adding that the company “has never done that before.”
The She-Hulk Disney Plus project has yet to be given a release date, with Marvel just calling it as a “original series streaming soon,” although it is likely to air in 2022.
She-Hulk is the newest in a long line of high-profile Marvel Comics Universe comics. WandaVision and The Falcon and Winter Soldier both aired earlier this year, with the former earning critical praise and spawning a Kathryn Hanh-starring spin-off, and the latter establishing the next chapter in the Captain America series. Loki, which premiered this summer and has been renewed for a second season, also helped begin the next phase of MCU films. Fans loved the animated Marvel’s What If…? series, which spawned a Marvel Zombies spin-off and a Season 2. Hawkeye premieres on Disney+ just in time for Thanksgiving to cap off the year.
