Megan Fox Was Horrified She Had to Kiss Amanda Seyfried on screen

Jennifer’s Body, starring Megan Fox, is a special film for everyone involved. Despite the fact that the picture wasn’t exactly a hit when it initially came out, the cast and crew of the film continued to promote it for years. Jennifer’s Body eventually gained a cult following as a result of its relevant themes, characterizations, and all-star performances.

The movie’s two stars, Fox and Amanda Seyfried, have both praised it. Despite the fact that they both stated that they had a fantastic experience creating the picture, they found one sequence to be a little too terrifying even for a horror film. And it was necessary for the two actors to kiss.

Megan Fox and Amanda Seyfried were “horrified” to have to kiss each other in the 2009 film Jennifer’s Body, according to Megan Fox.

The actress, 33, admitted that the sequence was “stressful” for them and that they “weren’t looking forward to it.”

Megan Fox recalls being hesitant to film a scene in Jennifer Body in which the two friends make out on a bed, showcasing a rare occurrence of bisexuality on the big screen, with Mamma Mia’s Amanda Seyfried. In the words of Fox:

“I remember Amanda and I were horrified that we had to make out. Her more so than me. I was slightly more comfortable being able to do it. She was not excited about having to film that scene at all. I remember we were both stressed out because we had chin acne and there was gonna be this micro-close-up of us kissing. [I remember thinking] ‘They have to paint that out!’ I don’t even know if they did, but that was a very stressful scene for the two of us.”

Fox’s co-star Amanda Seyfried, on the other hand, was proud of the moment, believing they both pulled it off, reportedly telling W Magazine, “We kissed really well together.”

“If I watch the scene, it’s actually really sexy. We got it done for the masses, but sadly, the masses didn’t show up.”

Jennifer Check, a high school girl, is possessed by a demon who murders her male friends in the horror flick.

Needy, her best friend, played by Seyfried, tries to stop her, and the two characters kiss in one moment.

The film’s recent rise in popularity has had the extra benefit of making young girls feel more at ease with their sexuality. Jennifer’s body appears to be a horror film on the surface. After a demon takes control of a popular cheerleader’s body, she begins to feast on men’s bodies. However, there is a love story involving Jennifer, played by Fox, and her nerdy best friend, played by Amanda Seyfried.

Many young girls have found inspiration in Fox and Seyfried’s romantic plotline, according to Fox.

“I can’t tell you how many girls, from 30 down into their teens – or, f*** that, my age, too – come up to me and are like, ‘I realized I was gay because of you,’ or ‘I felt comfortable coming out because of you,’” Fox told Dazed. “Because of Jennifer’s Body and the interviews I did about being bisexual before it was cool.”

Fox expressed her gratitude on such occasions.

“That’s something that’s so important to me, that I’m so proud of,” Fox said. “If my purpose on Earth was to help one girl come out the closet and feel OK about it, I had an amazing purpose here.”
