Paris Hilton shocks fans by revealing her real voice
Paris Hilton has revealed her true voice and spoken about the abuse she has suffered in her upcoming documentary, This Is Paris.
Hilton is known for her “dumb blonde” persona and high-pitched speaking voice, but in an interview with Today and Sunrise, she sounded normal and sophisticated.
“This entire time, I have been playing a character, so the world has never truly known who I am. The real me is someone who is actually brilliant. I’m not a dumb blonde, I’m just really good at pretending to be one,” Hilton said.
She added that she wanted to be respected for the businesswoman she is, rather than remembered as an “airhead.”
Hilton has previously addressed her change in voice, stating in a 2016 appearance on the Today show, “This is actually my real voice. My other voice – you know, that Simple Life kind of baby voice that I used to use… I actually have a low voice in real life.”

In This Is Paris, Hilton speaks about the abuse she suffered while attending Utah’s Provo Canyon School in the late 1990s.
“It was supposed to be a school, but [classes] were not the focus at all. From the moment I woke up until I went to bed, it was all day screaming in my face, yelling at me, continuous torture,” Hilton said.
She added that the staff at the school were physically abusive, hitting and strangling the students, and that their goal was to “break us down.”
Hilton said that she was held down and drugged as punishment and that she had panic attacks and cried every day.
“I felt like a prisoner and I hated life,” she said. Three of Hilton’s former classmates are set to appear in the documentary to support her claims.
Hilton also spoke about her strict upbringing and her tendency to rebel against her parents. “It was so easy to sneak out and go to clubs and parties,” she said.
“My parents were so strict that it made me want to rebel.”
“They’d [punish me] by taking away my cellphone, taking away my credit card, but it didn’t work. I would still go out on my own.”
