Rihanna’s employee rules cause outrage: No sick days & toilet breaks
Rihanna, the famous singer and businesswoman, recently took to Instagram to showcase the Employee Handbook at Fenty Corp, her rapidly expanding company.
However, the contents of the handbook have caused some concern among the public, with many questioning whether Rihanna is a fair and understanding employer.
According to the document, employees at Fenty Corp are not allowed to take sick days, even if they have a doctor’s note.
The handbook states, “If you are able to go to the doctor, you are able to come to work.”
This rule has been met with criticism, with many arguing that it is unfair to expect employees to come to work when they are unwell.

Furthermore, the handbook also includes a controversial policy on lunch breaks.
The document states that “Skinny people get 30 minutes for lunch as they need to eat more, so that they can look healthy,” and “Normal size people get 15 minutes for lunch to get a balanced meal to maintain their average figure.”
Meanwhile, “Fat people get 5 minutes for lunch, because that’s all the time needed to drink a Slim Fast.”
This policy has been met with widespread condemnation, with many calling it discriminatory and hurtful.
The handbook also includes a section on compassionate leave, which states, “There is nothing you can do for dead friends.”
The document goes on to say, “In rare cases where employee involvement is necessary the funeral should be scheduled in the late afternoon.”
“We will be glad to allow you to work through your lunch hour and subsequently leave one hour early.”
Rihanna has not yet made an official comment on the matter. However, many believe that the singer is only joking and that the handbook is not meant to be taken seriously.
Nevertheless, the contents of the document have raised serious concerns about Rihanna’s management style and her approach to treating her employees with respect and fairness.
