Batman star says his PEN!S was too big to fit on TV

Burt Ward, who played Robin in the original Batman! TV series, has revealed that his bulge was too big for the small screen.

The show aired on ABC from 1966 to 1968 and became a cultural phenomenon.

Ward was recently honored with his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and during an interview with Page Six, he disclosed that the studio was concerned about the size of his bulge under his superhero tights.

“The studio thought that Robin had a very large bulge for television,” Ward said.

ABC even sent him to see a doctor who prescribed medication to “shrink me up,” as he put it.

However, Ward took the pills for only three days as he was worried they would affect his fertility.

“I stopped doing that and I just used my cape to cover it,” he said.

Ward also revealed that his co-star, the late Adam West, had a different problem with his bulge.

“With Adam, they put Turkish towels in his undershorts,” he said.

It seems that the studio was concerned about the size of the actors’ bulges, as they wanted to avoid any awkward distractions for the viewers at home.

The Batman! TV series was a huge hit in the 1960s and became a pop culture phenomenon.

It featured the dynamic duo of Batman and Robin, played by West and Ward, fighting crime in Gotham City.

The show was known for its campy humor and colorful villains, with actors such as Burgess Meredith and Cesar Romero playing iconic roles.

Ward’s revelation about his bulge comes at a time when the world is eagerly anticipating the release of The Batman, starring Robert Pattinson as the caped crusader.

The new film has generated a lot of buzz, with fans eagerly awaiting its release in 2021.

Ward’s bulge may have caused some consternation for the studio, but it didn’t affect his career in the long run.

After Batman!, he went on to become a successful voice actor, providing the voice for Robin in several animated series.

Ward is now 75 years old and continues to be a beloved figure in the world of comics and pop culture.

The Hollywood Walk of Fame is a famous landmark in Los Angeles, California.

It features stars on the sidewalk honoring famous actors, musicians, and other celebrities.
